A Hammerfist is a one-handed melee Weapon for the Hammermage faction. They have an attack speed of 1.5 seconds and deal exclusively Impact damage. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Hammerfists, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.
Players who have chosen the Hammermage faction are able to receive Hammerfists in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Guardian or Cryoknight factions will receive hammerfists much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity weapons for their own faction.
Hammerfists are also able to be crafted by the Stonemason profession, at an item level up to the stonemason level of the crafter. Different level ranges of Hammerfist require different variants of the materials, but they all require 2 Flint (Etched) and 1 Hickory Pole.
Variants
The visual appearance of a Hammerfist is dependent only on its level. Hammerfists crafted by the Stonemason profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Hammerfist.
Item | Level | |
---|---|---|
Hammerfist (basic) | 0➨37 | |
Hammerfist (moderate) | 38➨86 | |
Hammerfist (fine).png | Hammerfist (fine) | 87➨137 |
Hammerfist (strong) | 138➨188 | |
Hammerfist (superior) | 189➨333 | |
Hammerfist (perfect) | 334➨500 |
Combat Stats
All Hammerfists attack at a speed of 1.5 seconds, and as one-handed weapons can be wielded alongside a Shield. They all deal only Impact damage, with no Element chance. The weapon strength of a Hammerfist obeys a rigid formula with no variation:
Where
- is the Item Level
- is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars
From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of a Hammerfist is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Hammerfist at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have exactly the same combat strength of 65. By the variants table above, these Epic, Rare, and Uncommon Hammerfists would use the "basic" appearance, but the Common Hammerfist would be a high enough level to use the "moderate" appearance.
The strongest possible Hammerfist is a level 500 Epic Hammerfist, which has the following stats:
