A Metal Bow is a two-handed ranged Weapon for the Cryoknight faction. They have an attack speed of 1.35 seconds and deal Arborae damage. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Metal Bow, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.
Players who have chosen the Cryoknight faction are able to receive Metal Bows in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Hammermage or Guardian factions will receive Metal Bows much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity weapons for their own faction.
Metal Bows are also able to be crafted by the Blacksmith profession, at an item level up to the Blacksmith level of the crafter. Different level ranges of Metal Bow require different variants of the materials, but they all require 6 Adathril Ingots.
Variants[edit | edit source]
The visual appearance of Metal Bows is dependent only on their level. Metal Bow scrafted by the Blacksmith profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Metal Bow.

Combat Stats[edit | edit source]
All Metal Bows attack at a speed of 1.35 seconds. They all deal Impact damage, with a chance to convert the damage to
Arborae. The weapon strength of Metal Bows obeys the following formula:
Where:
- is the Item Level
- is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars
- is the elemental bonus, which is related to from the elemental chance:
Elemental bonus | Elemental chance |
---|---|
+2 | 30% – 34% |
+1 | 35% – 44% |
+0 | 45% – 49% |
From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of Metal Bow is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus Metal Bow at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have the same minimum combat strength of 60.
Common and Uncommon Javelins have 3 ammunition, whereas Rare and Epic Javelins have 4 ammunition.
The strongest possible Metal Bow is a level 500 Epic Metal Bow with a maximum chance roll, which have the following stats:
