Tufted Giant Bat is a variant of a Giant Bat that players can passively fight with the Minefighter profession at level 37 and 4 knowledge, requiring a strength 57 Mine of Mantuban weapon. Killing a Tufted Giant Bat takes approximatly 20 seconds, and rewards the player with Tatty Wing of Bat and XP for each kill. Using a stronger Mine of Mantuban weapon will result in faster individual kills, but the XP-per-hour and and wings-per-hour remain the same. XP will be reduced by the passive XP penalty when the player's Minefighter level is too high.
