Devious Smuggler is a level 121 Watchperson fightable monster who appears in the Detective skill training activity Crime Den Raids. Appearing in groups of five and will be hostile to the player after a short dialogue following breaking into their hideout. They appear in both male and female variants with equal stats.
The player character says a random phrase upon entering the den raid:
- "You're all under arrest. I don't suppose you'd like to come quietly?"
- "Did someone order a chicken and leek pie? . . . ha fooled you!"
- "Please form an orderly queue to be arrested."
- "Okay, who wants to be handcuffed first?"
- "No one evades the Crenopolis Guards!"
- "I've got enough handcuffs for everyone."
- "I'm here on behalf of Captain Waltrain."
- "Put your hands up, this is a raid."
