Throwing Twinblades are a two-handed ranged Weapon for the Cryoknight faction. They have an attack speed of 1.75 seconds and deal exclusively Impact damage. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Throwing Twinblades, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.

Players who have chosen the Cryoknight faction are able to receive Throwing Twinblades in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Hammermage or Guardian factions will receive Throwing Twinblades much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity weapons for their own faction.

Throwing Twinblades are also able to be crafted by the Blacksmith profession, at an item level up to the Blacksmith level of the crafter. Different level ranges of Throwing Twinblades require different variants of the materials, but they all require 4 Iron Ingots.

Variants

The visual appearance of Throwing Twinblades is dependent only on their level. Throwing Twinblades crafted by the Blacksmith profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Throwing Twinblades.

Combat Stats

All Throwing Twinblades attack at a speed of 1.75 seconds, and as one-handed weapons can be wielded alongside a Shield. They all deal only Impact damage. The weapon strength of Throwing Twinblades obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

• $L$ is the Item Level
• $R$ is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of Throwing Twinblades is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus Throwing Twinblades at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have the same combat strength of 65.

The strongest possible Throwing Twinblades is a level 500 Epic Throwing Twinblades with a maximum strength roll, which have the following stats:
