• To start, speak with Commander Hackett on the walls at the Town Gates, accessible via the stairs in North Walls or South Walls. ( 3)…

• Head South, and kill the level 10 Goblin Thief

A player attempting to fix the Obelisk

• Use the Key Item on Commander Hackett, he will give you two Uncommon Wall Guard's Swords which you must take to Hopeport Obelisk
• Use the swords on the Hopeport Obelisk and Channette will instruct you to find an Obelisk Shard further down the river ( 2)…

  2	Could I help fix it?

• Follow the river by going South-east of the Eel Street Bridge. You will find it at the location Wilhope Crossing on the north side.
• Use the Obelisk Spike on Hopeport Obelisk (use item - obelisk spike)
• Cut scene - Corporal Merissina will give you a tablet
• Read the tablet
• Speak to Corporal Merissina after reading the tablet.
• Head to Town Gates and enter the house south to visit Naybeth the Philosopher to obtain four Tablets, ( 3)…

  3	I'm told you might be able to help me interpret this tablet

• Return to Hopeport Obelisk and read the Instruction Tablet
  • Each tablet is placed on the corresponding Ancient Post around the Hopeport Obelisk,
    • Place Tablet 1 NE
    • Place Tablet 2 NW
    • Place Tablet 3 SE
    • Place Tablet 4 SW

• Talk to Wellambran the Cryoknight. ( 1•2)…

  1	This obelisk is broken.
  2	Maybe our magic supressor is blocking you.

• Teleport to Hopeport before speaking with Anjay Sandorman in the Training Ground. ( 4)…

  4	We need you to grant magic access to a Cryoknight.

• Head back to the Hopeport Obelisk and speak with Anjay Sandorman
• Use Missing Obelisk Spike on The Obelisk (use item - obelisk spike)

• Tune the Uncommon Wall Guard's Swords by using them on the Obelisk.
• Return them to Commander Hackett on the walls at the Town Gates. (use item - wall guards sword)

Rewards

• Access to the Hopeport Obelisk
• Ability to tune untuned items
• Uncommon Wall Guard's Sword
• 10,600  XP
