Monsters are creatures in Brighter Shores that can be attacked. They are fought in combat for their loot, including valuable currency items. Monsters in Brighter Shores scale in comparison to a players combat skill in their respective region. Once a player meets a specific level threshold, the monster in question is automatically upgraded to a stronger variant. Players can opt to attack and older-lower level monster by selecting "Past Action" when attacking a monster to display a list of attackable variants for that monster
There are many monsters in Brighter Shores, including:

Passive Monsters
There are several monsters in Brighter Shores which can only be attacked Passively. When attacking these monsters your player will continue attacking them until you decide to stop. Your player will even continue to kill them after you log out from the game. hence the "Passive" part. When killing these passive monsters, you will accumulate experience and money until you log back into the game. However, the rate of experience and money gained is much less than fighting non-passive monsters. It is recommended only to fight passive monsters once the player plans on logging off from the game.
Passive monsters include:
Categories
- Carnivorous Plant
- DeathCrow
- Ghoul
- Gobin Soldier
- Goblin Chief
- Hairbeast
- Moss Monster
