Guard's Plumbatae is a one-handed ranged Weapon with an attack speed of 1.875 seconds. Unqiue amongst all weapons, the Plumbatae can spawn in any of element: Cryonae, Arborae, Tempestae, Necromae, or Infernae. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Guard's Plumbatae, provided that the player has NOT progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as after this point only faction equipment can be received. Players are able to receive Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Guard's Plumbatae.

Carthian Plumbatae are a unqiue version of Guard's Plumbatae, which always have level 30, Rare rarity, and Infernae. The only differences are the name and description.

Combat Stats[edit | edit source]

All Guard's Plumbatae attack at a speed of 1.875 seconds, and as one-handed weapons can be wielded alongside a Shield. They all deal Impact damage, with a chance to convert the damage to its chosen element. The weapon strength and elemental chance of Guard's Plumbatae obey the following formulae:

Strength=L+15R+[02]
Chance=[3049]%

Where

  • L is the Item Level
  • R is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

There is random variation in the stats for Guard's Plumbatae, determined by the terms [02] for the strength and [3049] for the elemental chance. Generally, a weapon with a lower roll on the chance will have a higher roll for the strength.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of Guard's Plumbatae is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Guard's Plumbata at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have the same minimum combat strength of 60.

Common and Uncommon Guard's Plumbatae have 3 ammunition, whereas Rare and Epic Guard's Plumbatae have 4 ammunition.

The strongest possible Guard's Plumbata is a level 50 Epic Guard's Plumbata with a maximum damage roll, which has the following stats (availabe in all elemnts, not just Infernae):
