A Juniper Tree is a type of Woodcutter Skill node located in Hopeforest. Harvesting a Juniper Tree requires a Hatchet and yields a Juniper Log. The quality of the log depends on the player's Woodcutter level, starting with Coarse Juniper Log at level 10. Juniper Branches of various tiers can also be lopped using Tree Loppers, costing 2 knowledge points, beginning at level 25 woodcutter.
Junier Trees take 3.5 seconds to fell with a hatchet, and have a 45 second respawn timer.

Strategy[edit | edit source]
The most efficient place to fell Juniper Trees is the Pool of Rainbows, where there are 5 trees close to each other, and a storage rift.
The 5 trees shown in the picture are close enough together that all 5 may be chopped in sequence before they respawn. This path is marked in red, and a cycle takes takes 54 seconds, for 10.8 seconds per tree or 333 logs per hour. However after every 24 logs chopped the players inventory will be full, and the logs must dropped, sold, or banked.
Discarding the logs by dropping them on the floor is the fastest option, and can be done with practically no time loss. This maintains 333 logs per hour, at the cost of giving no items or coins.
Depositing the Juniper logs in the Storage Rift that is on the route is the second fastest option, only takes 4 seconds, and should be performed every 4th cycle. This results in a total value of 327 logs per hour. This provides logs into the Lumber Bank, the most convenient location to use them for training Carpentry, saving money from buying those logs in the future from Gwen.
Selling the Juniper logs as you chop them is not recommended, as is is a considerable distance to the shop where they may be sold, however after banking it is possible to make trips between the lumber bank and the shop to sell the logs. Players without access to the Storage Rift may instead chop Juniper trees in the Tree Lined Track and then run to either the the shop or the bank as they choose, however unlocking the rifts should be a priority for anyone intending to chop a considerable number of Juniper Trees.
