Reward rarity

How rare are the hats? I got my first one on my 22nd felled foe after the update, and my second one after exactly 22 more. Is it simply one per 22 XP gains? Thingummywut (talk) 00:44, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Third hat was also exactly 22 foes later. Then I moved to fishing and got a hat 80 fish later. Maybe different professions give hats at different number of actions? Thingummywut (talk) 10:11, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Sixth hat again exactly 80 fish later. Seventh hat took an assortment of 113 food items, but eighth only 25 and 8 bounties. So it's at least not only about profession actions; chef likely varies by KP gains or something. Thingummywut (talk) 23:47, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

could it be tied to knowledge? since each action gives a fixed amount of knowledge regardless of variant? Alsang (talk) 00:57, 13 December 2024 (UTC)

That appears to be the case! After testing with Stonemason / Cooking / Forager, I was gaining a hat every 67% ish of a Knowledge point after receiving a hat. I'm thinking it's probably a flat 2/3 due to some rounding I saw, wouldn't be able to be sure without extensive testing which frankly, doesn't appeal. --Commodore (talk) 05:18, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
