Killing a Shardwing Giant Bat takes approximatly 20 seconds, and rewards the player with Tatty Wing of Bat and XP for each kill. Using a stronger Mine of Mantuban weapon will result in faster individual kills, but the XP-per-hour and and wings-per-hour remain the same. XP will be reduced by the [[Experience#Passive_activity_penalty|passive XP penalty]] when the player's Minefighter level is too high.
