Reagent Preparation Station is an Alchemist skill node used in the preparation of reagents required to make potions.

The first step to create a potion to to use the Reagents at the Reagent Preparation Station to create a Preparation. Each potion (with the exception of the 10% potion healing) uses two reagents. Reagents may be stored in the Potion Reagents Bank but preparations cannot be banked anywhere. Each preparation takes 5.0 seconds to make, and awards Alchemist XP and 0.5% knowledge.

Each reagent can only be used to make one type of preparation, so reagents do not need to be saved up to make better potions later. The sole exception to this is Brown Kelp, which is used to make both the 10% Potion Healing and the 20% Potion Healing, with the latter also requiring Creamy Wallplant. To avoid accidentally making a 10% potion when intending to make a 20% potion, players should select the wallplant from the preparation station interface.
