Walkthrough

  • I've used some items on the Giant Crystal in the Crystal Clearing:
    • 2 Glowing Beetles
  • The Crystal still contains corruption.
  • The Dryad has hinted of more magic sources around Hopeforest.
  • Some magic is beyond a tangled briar.
  • I have found a Glowing Bee Hive at the Two Headed Bear Clearing, but it is being guarded by a level 20 Giant Two Headed Bear.
    • Taking from the Glowing Bee Hive requires a Jar.
    • The boss can easily be killed by staying at the bridge and waiting for the slam attack, then attacking while it charges before stepping back. You can also stand on the far edge of the bridge to regain health if low, out of the bear's range.
  • Some magic is beyond a river.
    • Fix the ferry at Hopeforest Ferry. Requires 4 Coarse Ash Planks.
    • Fight the newt by avoiding the leap attacks. Make sure to repair the ferry between leaps.
    • Once the fight is over pick the fern on the other side of the river.
  • With the 2 Dull Beetles, Glowing Honey, Glowing Fern and Glowing Mushroom, go back to Crystal Clear and use the items on the crystal to summon the Dryad.
  • The Dryad mentioned that there is more corruption emanating from a mine to the southeast of the forest.
  • I can't get into the Mine Entrance without clearance from Captain Jal Degreene.
    • Teleport to Hopeport and ask for clearance at Captain Degreene's Office. Requires Hopeforest level of 60 and total level of 153.
