As a piece of Armor, Kettle Helmets have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of a Kettle Helmet obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

:<math>\text{Strength} = 6\times L + 90\times R + 10 </math>

Where
*<math>L</math> is the Item Level
*<math>R</math> is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value. Since the armor is for the Cryoknight faction, the [[File:Tempestae damage icon.png|18px]] Tempestae resistance will be on average 20 points lower than that of the other damage types. See [[Armor]] for a more detailed explanation of how resistances are calculated.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of a Kettle Helmet is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Kettle Helmet at level 0 {{Epic}}, at level 15 {{Rare}}, at level 30 {{Uncommon}}, or at level 45 {{Common}} will all have exactly the same total resistance of '''370'''.

A Kettle Helmet is piece of Armor for the Cryoknight faction, worn in the head slot. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Kettle Helmets, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.

Players who have chosen the Cryoknight faction are able to receive Kettle Helmets in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Hammermage or Guardian factions will receive Kettle Helmets much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity armor for their own faction.

Kettle Helmets are also able to be crafted by the Armorer profession, at an item level up to the Armorer level of the crafter.

Variants[edit | edit source]

The visual appearance of a Kettle Helmet is dependent only on its level. Kettle Helmets crafted by the Armorer profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Kettle Helmet.

Combat Stats[edit | edit source]

As a piece of Armor, Kettle Helmets have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of a Kettle Helmet obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

Strength=6×L+90×R+10

Where

  • L is the Item Level
  • R is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value. Since the armor is for the Cryoknight faction, the Tempestae resistance will be on average 20 points lower than that of the other damage types. See Armor for a more detailed explanation of how resistances are calculated.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of a Kettle Helmet is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Kettle Helmet at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have exactly the same total resistance of 370.
