Iron Mine Cart Work is a Mine Cart Work activity which requires the player to push a minecart, fill it, and deliver it. It requires level 10 Miner in order to push the minecart. When successfully delivering a minecart, the player will be rewarded with 2,645 experience in the Miner profession, as well as 6  427 .

Strategy

The cart must be moved from its starting point in the Mine Cart Cave, to be filled with Iron, and delivered to an exit of the mine.

The cart is pushed along tracks automatically, and whenver a junction is encountered the correct direction to continue must be selected. Choosing the wrong direction will not fail the activity, but the cart must be moved back to be able to continue. To push the cart from the starting point to Jack, the directions are:

• Turn right (south)
• Straight ahead (south)
• Turn right (west)
• Turn left (south)

to end up in the Dilapidated Mining Cavern.

Here, the player must wait for Jack Grunger to fill the minecart with Iron. The player will then have to deliver it to either Petunia Honest or Podger Hughes, although Petunia is significantly closer in the Mine Entrance. The directions from Jack to Petunia are:

• Reverse (east)
• Turn left (west)

Petunia then reward the player with 2645 miner experience as well as 6  427 . The entire activity takes approximately 80 seconds.

If at any point the player decides to stop pushing the minecart, the activity will fail and the player has to return back to the mine cart cave and restart from the beginning.
