A Guard Chainmail Torso is piece of Armor for the Guard faction, worn in the body slot. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Guard Chainmail Torsos, provided that the player has NOT progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as after this point only faction equipment can be received. Players are able to receive Guard Chainmail Torsos in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity.

Combat Stats[edit | edit source]

As a piece of Armor, Guard Chainmail Torsos have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of a Guard Chainmail Torso obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

Strength=6×L+90×R+30

Where

  • L is the Item Level
  • R is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value. See Armor for a more detailed explanation of how resistances are calculated.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of a Guard Chainmail Torso is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Guard Chainmail Torso at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have exactly the same total resistance of 390.

A list of all different level and rarity combinations of Guard Chainmail Torsos, including their sell values, can be found here:
