As foraging can take your character into higher level zones with dangerous creatures that will aggro onto your character, it is recommended to level your Guard skill in tandem with your foraging skill in order to be able to adventure into dangerous areas to acquire these valuable resources.
As foraging can sometimes take your character into zones with aggressive creatures, it is recommended to use the [[Immunity|Immunity spell]] to escape. Alternatively, a [[Fear potion|Fear]] potion can be used.

Forager activities are all skill nodes that give resources and XP. This table assumes that all the skill nodes are depleted before their respawn timers, and every time the inventory is full the resources are banked at a [[Storage Rift]] or the [[Apothecary]]. Profit values do not take into account the time required to sell resources if they were banked. XP values when discarding resources, and hence giving no items or profit, are in the final column.

Your own XP and profit rates are highly dependent on efficient movement, and so may vary from these values.

Forager is a profession in Hopeport where players forage for raw ingredients to be used in the Chef and Alchemist Professions, as well as Fisher bait and Monument Pieces to restore the Fallen Monument.
