The '''Chef''' [[professions|profession]] is one of the five professions unlocked in [[Hopeport]]. As a chef, [[player]]s can create different dishes in [[the Delectable Dab Kitchen]]. Following the recipes shown in the [[Chef Recipe Book]], players can use the [[ingredients bank]] and equipment in the kitchen to process items obtained from stores such as [[Kevin's Ingredients]] and in the [[Fisher]], [[Forager]] and [[Gatherer]] professions into [[food]]. The profession is widely used as a way of making money, as these food items can be sold to the [[Head Chef]] or used to complete food delivery [[bounties]] on the [[Chef's Bounty Board]] (after reaching level 9). Unlike many other games, players cannot use food themselves to heal in combat.

Players can store these ingredients in the ingredients bank. Ingredients are processed through a variety of equipment, depending on the recipe.

The profession is widely used as a way of making money, as these food items can be sold to the Head Chef or used to complete food delivery bounties on the Chef's Bounty Board (after reaching level 9). Unlike many other games, players cannot use food themselves to heal in combat.

Chef's Bounty Board

Level 9 Chefs can view the Chef's Bounty Board to accept food delivery bounties for money and XP rewards.

Bounties can be accepted for up to an hour. After the timer on the board runs out, then a new bounty will appear.

Once a bounty has been accepted, then there is no time limit to deliver it. A player can only accept up to a maximum of 6 bounties at a time.

Players need to deliver specific foods to civilians across Hopeport.

Upon successful delivery, bonus XP is given to the player. Drinking the 5% Potion XP Hopeport affects XP upon delivery.

Bacon Sandwich

Bacon sandwiches are prepared by combining Raw Bacon with Bread, both sold by Kevin, in a two-step process. First, the bacon needs to be fried in the Frying Pan. Then, the bacon should be combined with the Bread at the Preparation Table. At maximum efficiency, this allows the player to create about 325 sandwiches per hour.
