This template is used by default on all forum pages. The first parameter will already be filled, and thus can simply be ignored.
* <code>name</code> - This filled out automatically when the forum is created, assuming it is created through the preload found on [[Forum:Yew Grove]]. It is for use on [[Brighter Shores:Forum Archives]].
* <code>subject</code> - This is used to describe the subject of the forum, or what it is proposing. This parameter is used in [[Brighter Shores:Forum Archives]], so links should be added as necessary.
* <code>archive</code> - This parameter will add the thread to the archived list if set to <code>true</code>. It is equivalent to adding {{T|Archive}} directly below the forumheader template if you choose not to use the parameter.
* <code>closure</code> - This parameter is used for [[Brighter Shores:Forum Archives]]. It accepts:
** <code>allow</code>
** <code>disallow</code>
** <code>no consensus</code>
** <code>withdrawn</code>
** <code>no proposal</code>
** <code>no formal closure</code>
** <code>partial allow and partial disallow</code>
* <code>date</code> - Date and time when the thread was closed, for sorting purposes, formatted as <code>YYYYMMDDHHMMSS</code> - this can be set at the time of closure by substituting the <code>REVISIONTIMESTAMP</code> magic word with <code>{{((}}subst:REVISIONTIMESTAMP{{))}}</code>
* <code>user</code> - Link to the user page of the user who closed the thread, for sorting purposes. This can be set with <code>&#91;&#91;User:{{((}}subst:REVISIONUSER{{))}}&#93;&#93;</code>
* <code>type</code> - Gives thread a category based on input. <br> Valid values are (case sensitive):
** <code>community</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Community]]
** <code>content</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Content]]
** <code>discussion</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Discussion]]
** <code>miscellaneous</code> or <code>misc</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Miscellaneous]]
** <code>meta</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Meta]]
** <code>policy</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Policy]]
** <code>technical</code>, <code>tech</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/Technical]]
** <code>user-related</code>, <code>user</code>, giving [[:Category:Forum archives/User-related]]
* <code>notes</code> - This parameter is used to clarify the outcome of the forum where simply stating the closure is insufficient. Examples might be if parts of the proposal were implemented/rejected and if the proposal developed beyond what was originally stated in said proposal. This parameter is for use in [[Brighter Shores:Forum Archives]].
* <code>mainpage</code> - This is used to hide the forum from the listing on the main page if set to <code>no</code>.

After consensus is determined, the following parameters should be added/filled in:
