Template:Forumheader invokes function main in Module:Forumheader using Lua.

This template is used by default on all forum pages. The first parameter will already be filled, and thus can simply be ignored.

• name - This filled out automatically when the forum is created, assuming it is created through the preload found on Forum:Yew Grove. It is for use on Brighter Shores:Forum Archives.
• subject - This is used to describe the subject of the forum, or what it is proposing. This parameter is used in Brighter Shores:Forum Archives, so links should be added as necessary.
• archive - This parameter will add the thread to the archived list if set to true. It is equivalent to adding {{Archive}} directly below the forumheader template if you choose not to use the parameter.
• closure - This parameter is used for Brighter Shores:Forum Archives. It accepts:
  • allow
  • disallow
  • no consensus
  • withdrawn
  • no proposal
  • no formal closure
  • partial allow and partial disallow
• date - Date and time when the thread was closed, for sorting purposes, formatted as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS - this can be set at the time of closure by substituting the REVISIONTIMESTAMP magic word with {{subst:REVISIONTIMESTAMP}}
• user - Link to the user page of the user who closed the thread, for sorting purposes. This can be set with [[User:{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}]]
• type - Gives thread a category based on input.
  Valid values are (case sensitive):
  • community, giving Category:Forum archives/Community
  • content, giving Category:Forum archives/Content
  • discussion, giving Category:Forum archives/Discussion
  • miscellaneous or misc, giving Category:Forum archives/Miscellaneous
  • meta, giving Category:Forum archives/Meta
  • policy, giving Category:Forum archives/Policy
  • technical, tech, giving Category:Forum archives/Technical
  • user-related, user, giving Category:Forum archives/User-related
• notes - This parameter is used to clarify the outcome of the forum where simply stating the closure is insufficient. Examples might be if parts of the proposal were implemented/rejected and if the proposal developed beyond what was originally stated in said proposal. This parameter is for use in Brighter Shores:Forum Archives.
• mainpage - This is used to hide the forum from the listing on the main page if set to no.

Closing thread

After consensus is determined, the following parameters should be added/filled in:
