It is used to mine all types of active and passive skill nodes, except for [[Gold (skill node)|Gold]] which uses a [[Gold Panning Sieve]]. There are 6 different grades of Pickaxe that may be purchased from the [[Pans and Pickaxes]] shop, each of which gives an increasing XP bonus when using it. Pickaxes may also be [[Enchant]]ed to further increase the XP bonus. Enchantment level is retained when upgrading the grade of the Pickaxe.
