In Brighter Shores, items are objects that can be taken by the player and placed into the backpack or toolbelt. Some of them may be used for further processing, while others may be consumed for benefits to the player or equipped to increase the character's combat stats.
Items dropped to the ground by the player have a despawn time of ten minutes.
Selecting the "Info" action on an item opens its card, showing the item's name, image, a short description, and potentially graphics corresponding to the item's episode.
