The '''Floor Tentacle''' is a stationary [[Aggression|aggressive]] [[variant]] [[monster]] found in [[Mine of Mantuban]] that only initiates combat if a player is on a tile adjacent to them. They are immune to {{AttackStyle|Tempestae}} and vulnerable to {{AttackStyle|Infernae}}. They are [[Aggressive]], and the primary source of [[Sucker]] potion reagents.

Players are not able to step underneath Floor Tentacles.

==Attacks==
Floor Tentacles have two melee attacks:

* When the player first activates a Tentacle from melee range and/or moves into melee range from ranged for the first time, they will flick the player for {{AttackStyle|Impact}} damage. This attack may only occur a maximum of twice per battle.
* Their main, and stronger, melee attack is a {{AttackStyle|Tempestae}} swipe.

They do not possess a ranged attack.

If the player starts from ranged, but quickly moves into melee during the time period where the tentacle would have performed its first hit, the tentacle will flick the player twice - once for activation, and once more for moving into melee distance from ranged. The first flick may be avoided if the player does not approach the Tentacle during the first few seconds of initiating combat with ranged.
