A Flared Robe Top is piece of Armor for the Hammermage faction, worn in the torso slot. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Flared Robe Tops, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.
Flared Robe Top is an armor worn in the torso slot.

Players who have chosen the Hammermage faction are able to receive Flared Robe Tops in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Guardian or Cryoknight factions will receive Flared Robe Tops much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity armor for their own faction.

Flared Robe Tops will also be able to be crafted by the Armorer profession, at an item level up to the armorer level of the crafter.

Variants
The visual appearance of a Flared Robe Top is dependent only on its level. Flared Robe Tops crafted by the Armorer profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Flared Robe Top.

Dyes
Dyes may be applied to Flared Robe Tops at The Color Wheel or City Dyes, which change the colour of some parts of the item without changing the variant or level.

Combat Stats
As a piece of Armor, Flared Robe Tops have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of a Flared Robe Top obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

:<math>\text{Strength} = 6\times L + 90\times R + 10 </math>

Where
*<math>L</math> is the Item Level
*<math>R</math> is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value. Since the armor is for the Hammermage faction, the Arborae resistance will be on average 20 points lower than that of the other damage types. See Armor for a more detailed explanation of how resistances are calculated.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of a Flared Robe Top is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus a Flared Robe Top at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have exactly the same total resistance of 370.

A list of all different level and rarity combinations of Flared Robe Tops, including their sell values, can be found here:

Latest revision as of 17:20, 29 December 2024

A Flared Robe Top is piece of Armor for the Hammermage faction, worn in the torso slot. All enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop Flared Robe Tops, provided that the player has progressed through the main story to the point where they have chosen a Faction, as before this point only non-faction equipment can be received.

Variants[edit | edit source]

The visual appearance of a Flared Robe Top is dependent only on its level. Flared Robe Tops crafted by the Armorer profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Flared Robe Top.

ItemLevel
Flared Robe Top (basic).pngFlared Robe Top (basic)0➨49

Dyes[edit | edit source]

Dyes may be applied to Flared Robe Tops at The Color Wheel or City Dyes, which change the colour of some parts of the item without changing the variant or level.

Combat Stats[edit | edit source]

As a piece of Armor, Flared Robe Tops have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of a Flared Robe Top obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

Strength=6×L+90×R+10

Where

 • L is the Item Level
 • R is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars
