Common Dab is an item that can be obtained from fishing at Common Dab skill nodes in Vacant Pier. Fishing Common Dab is a Passive activity unlocked with 20 Fisher and 1 Knowledge. Fishing for Common Dab requires a Fishing Rod, Slippy Sea Slugs for bait and Crates to contain them.

Catching Common Dab takes 20 seconds per action, consumes 0.005 units of bait and awards the player 9 XP and 0.005 units of a full crate. Each crate holds 200 catches and takes ~66 minutes to fill for a total of 1800 XP.

Catching Common Dab awards 1620 XP per hour.

Once the player reaches 25 Fisher fishing Common Dab is reduced to 4 XP per action. Players should instead move to catching Spotted Mackibut.
