Cat is an animal you can pet in Brighter Shores. There are at least two varieties of cat. One has black fur, a white tummy, white paws, and yellow eyes. The other one has striped orange fur, a white tummy, white paws, and green eyes.
Petting the cat takes about 6 seconds. During the petting session, cartoonish two-dimensional red hearts are emitted from the cat's head and it purrs. The cat can be pet many times in a row with the same effect every time.
