Angular Bone Torso is a piece of Armor for the Guardian faction, worn in the body slot.

Once a player has progressed through the Hopeforest main story quest, Nullify the corruption, and has chosen a Faction, all enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop an Angular Bone Torso.

Players who have chosen the Guardian faction can receive an Angular Bone Torso in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Hammermage or Cryoknight factions will receive an Angular Bone Torso are also able to be crafted by the Armorer profession, at an item level up to the Armorer level of the crafter.

Variants

The visual appearance of an Angular Bone Torso is dependent only on its level. Angular Bone Torsos crafted by the Armorer profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Angular Bone Torso.

Combat Stats

As a piece of Armor, Angular Bone Torso have resistance stats for all 6 damage types. The total resistance of an Angular Bone Torso obeys a rigid formula with no variation:

Strength = 6 \times L + 90 \times R + 10

Where

$L$ is the Item Level
$R$ is the Rarity, expressed as number of stars

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value. Since the armor is for the Guardian faction, the Cryonae resistance will be on average 20 points lower than that of the other damage types. See Armor for a more detailed explanation of how resistances are calculated.

From this formula it can be seen that each increase in Rarity of an Angular Bone Torso is equivalent to 15 additional levels. Thus an Angular Bone Torso at level 0 Epic, at level 15 Rare, at level 30 Uncommon, or at level 45 Common will all have exactly the same total resistance of 370.

Dyes

Angular Bone Torso can by dyed at The Color Wheel or City Dyes, which changes the color of some of the lines on the item. They can also drop with a dye already applied to them.
