Horned helmets can by dyed at [[The Color Wheel]] or [[City Dyes]], which changes the color of some of the lines on the item. Helmets can also drop with a dye already applied to them.
The helmet images have sightly different highlight colors (see below), it is currently unknown what causes this and why.

Horned Helmet is a head slot piece of Armor for the Guardian faction.

Once a player has progressed through the Hopeforest main story quest, Nullify the corruption, and has chosen a Faction, all enemies capable of dropping combat equipment have a chance to drop a Horned Helmet.

Players who have chosen the Guardian faction can receive a Horned Helmet in Common, Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Rarity. Players who chose the Hammermage or Cryoknight factions will receive a Horned Helmet much less frequently, and only in Rare rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the Infusion system to make Epic rarity shields for their faction.
