⚫ | Brighter Shores is currently in 'early access'. This means a few core features aren't ready yet, and there are probably still some bugs! |

• We have updated the rules to make 'multiboxing' (logging in multiple accounts simultaneously) against the rules. This is no longer allowed, so if you have been doing it please stop now! |

• As requested by so many players... 'single click actions' are now a thing! If you wish to enable this then:<br> |

  1) open the settings.<br> |
|||
  2) go the controls section and press 'open'.<br> |
|||
  3) open the drop down next to 'do first action'.<br> |
|||
  4) choose "left click".<br> |
|||
 This causes left clicking something in the 3d view to do the default action, and right clicking it still opens the full menu. |
|||
• You can now also rotate the camera by dragging with the middle mouse button.<br> |
|||
I didn't originally plan to make another MMORPG, but so many people asked me to do so that I eventually gave in! |

• You can now reassign what each mouse button does (in settings->controls).<br> |

• The active foraging block album cards now list which profession equipment is required to forage them. I realize this still needs adding in more places too.<br> |

We are only a small indie team (we have never had more than 8 employees). I didn't want to involve external investors or publishers, as this is very much a 'passion project' for me. I made it purely because I love making games. |

• If upgrading/enchanting your profession equipment results in you getting a fractional XP increase, (for example it results in say 124.5 XP) you will now get that fraction.<br> |
|||
My team and I have poured years of hard work in to making this game, and I think we have managed to produce something which compares well with the products of much larger developers. I am incredibly proud of what we have created, so I really hope you enjoy it. |

• Make combat rooms a little less crowded. (1 less player allowed at once).<br> |

• Make spear fishing rooms a lot less crowded, (max 10 players, instead of max 20 players).<br> |

• Deplete spottable thieves (detective) upon login, so you cannot gain an advantage by server hopping. |

I wasn't planning on doing an early access launch originally either, but I have been wanting to share what we are creating for years now, and it reached the point where I just couldn't stand waiting any longer! Hopefully there aren't too many rough edges. Expect it to improve rapidly over the coming months as we continue to work on it.</div> |
