Captain Degreene needs a potion[edit source]

Talking to Corporal Binns[edit source]

  • Corporal Binns: See what help Ebsworth needs in order to heal our captain.

Talking to Delana[edit source]

  • Delana: I do hope the captain will be alright.

Talking to Ebsworth[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: The captain seems to be in a bad way. We'll have to make up a healing potion.
  • Ebsworth: Which is going to be tricky when I'm clean out of brown kelp. Could someone run and fetch me a piece.
  • Corporal Binns: Hey you! Player! Head to the beach and bring Ebsworth some brown kelp.
  • Ebsworth: You'll need to head south to the waterfront, then head west.

Getting brown kelp[edit source]

Talking to Ebsworth[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: Have you got that brown kelp yet?
  • Player: Not yet.
  • Ebsworth: Remember, head south to the waterfront, then head west.

Walking in the wrong direction before Central Waterfront[edit source]

  • Player: I was told the kelp can be found to the south.

Walking in the wrong direction at Central Waterfront[edit source]

  • Player: I was told the kelp can be found to the west.

Talking to civilian[edit source]

Before killing the goblins[edit source]

  • Civilian: Are you guard? There's goblins marauding in the streets to the west.
  • Player: Thanks for the heads up.

After killing the goblins[edit source]

  • Civilian: I hope no more of those goblins show up.

Walking in the wrong direction at East Beach[edit source]

  • Player: I was told the kelp can be found here on the beach.

Back to Stone Street[edit source]

Walking in the wrong direction back to Stone Street[edit source]

  • Player: I think my help is needed in Stone Street to the north.

Using brown kelp on Captain Degreene[edit source]

  • Captain Jal Degreene: I'm not eating raw seaweed. I think Ebsworth had other plans for it.

Preparing the reagent or potion before getting permission from Ebsworth[edit source]

  • Ebsworth's assistant: Hey, stay away from that equipment! You need permission from Ebsworth to use that.

Talking to Ebsworth[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: Have you got that brown kelp yet?
  • Player: Yes. Here it is.
  • Ebsworth: Well done on finding it. Hmm, I need to keep an eye on the captain's wounds, but I also need to make that potion.
  • Player: Could I help at all?
  • Ebsworth: I suppose it wouldn't hurt for you to do the initial preparation. Take the brown kelp to the reagent preparation station in my shop.
  • Ebsworth: There's quite a lot of stations in the apothecary, but the reagent preparation station is the chopping board on my counter.
  • Ebsworth: Pop back to me with the preparation when you've finished making it.

Using brown kelp on Ebsworth[edit source]

Only on the first time[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: Pop back to me with the preparation when you've finished making it.

Afterwards[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: If you could prepare that at the reagent preparation station in my apothecary shop, that would help immensely

Using 10% Preparation Healing on Captain Degreene[edit source]

  • Captain Jal Degreene: I don't want that.

Talking to Ebsworth[edit source]

  • Ebsworth: Have you prepared that brown kelp yet?
  • (Without the 10% Preparation Healing:)
    • Player: Not yet.
  • (With the 10% Preparation Healing:)
    • Player: Yes. Here it is.
    • Ebsworth: Okay, that's... actually quite good! You clearly have a talent for this.
    • Ebsworth: I don't think I should leave the captain. We will have to risk you finishing the potion yourself.
    • Ebsworth: Take this bottle and the preparation to the standard potion station in my shop, and use it to make a healing potion.
    • Player receives bottle.
