The Lost and Found: Difference between revisions

Preparations: (These can all be done prior to starting the quest).

* 12 Silver (and more for the passive materials)

* 1 Coarse Flint (mine it or purchase from stone vendor)

* 1 Brittle Cockroach Mandibles

** Kill cockroaches in "Cockroach Lair" or "Mutant Cockroaches" areas

* Bone Dice (any amount)

** Purchase 1 Yellowing Sheep Rib from Jangle's Bone Shop in the "Bridge Cavern". (Requires 40 Bonewright)

** Begin passive training on the Knickkacks table in "Bone Vats" to convert the sheep rib into Bone Dice. (Requires 5 passive training points in Bonewright, or 3 and the +2 Potion of Boost).

* Shinerium Necklace (any amount)

** Purchase 1 Firefly Shinerium from Bobble's Oresome Ores in the "Goblin Marketplace" (Requires 56?? Blacksmithing)

** Begin passive training on the Jewelry Bench in the "Gnome Forge". (Requires 8 passive training points in Blacksmithing, or 6 and the +2 Potion of Boost).

* Gray Marble Vase (any amount)

** Purchase 1 Grey Marble from Poffit's Interesting Rocks in the "Goblin Marketplace" (Requires 46 Stonemason)

** Begin passive training on the Stoneware Bench in the "Sculpting Room". (Requires 6 passive training points in Stonemason, or 4 and the +2 Potion of Boost).

* Shaggy Beastman Claws (any amount)

** Begin passive training on the Shaggy Beastman found in the "Rat Infested Junction". (Requires 61 Minefighter and 9 passive training points in Minefighter, or 59 Minefighter with 7 passive points and the +2 potion of Boost).

Note: These items will be '''consumed''' during the quest and you will not get them back.

Walkthrough:

Trip #1: (please verify this part, I did not take notes on what happened here)

Go to Podium Cave

Investigate Receptacle #1, it will ask for a Goblin Compass.

Goblin Compass:

Go to Dabble in "Goblin Workshop" and ask about a compass to receive the key item "Dabble's Key".

Go to "Goblin Living Quarters" and use the key on Dabble's chest. You will receive multiple key items. (Broken Compass, Pin, Shiny Bauble, Jerky, Mysterious Device)

In the quest interface, use the "Pin" key item on the "Broken Compass" key item to create the "Goblin Compass".

Trip #2

Go to Podium Cave

Use item "Goblin Compass" on Receptacle #1

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #5 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #5.

Use item "Bone Dice" on Receptacle #5

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #6 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #6.

Use item "Coarse Flint" on Receptacle #5

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #2 is accessible.

Turn Receptacle #2 so that Receptacle #3 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #3.

Use item "Shinerium Necklace" on Receptacle #3

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #4 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #4.

Use item "Gray Marble Vase" on Receptacle #4

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #8 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #8.

Throwing Knife:

Leave the Podium Cave, return to Lost and Found to talk to Quinto.

Go to "Skallek's Dwelling" and ask him for his knife.

Use the key item "Shiny Bauble" on the nail attached to the left wall.

Go to the right wall of the room and take the Throwing Knife key item out of the wall.

Trip #3

Go to Podium Cave, return to Receptacle #8

Use item "Kobold Throwing Knife" on Receptacle #8

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #12 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #12.

Use item "Brittle Cockroach Mandibles" on Receptacle #12

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #11, then #15 are accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #15.

Goblin Tankard:

Go to "Chuncates Chamber" and speak to Chuncrates, ask for his tankard. He will ask for some food.

Go to "Northwest Mining Cavern" and speak to Sammy Clod. ask about interesting food.

Purchase his lunch for 12 silver.

Go to "Chuncates Chamber" use the key item "Pork Pie" on Chuncrates.

Use the key item "Jerky" on Chuncrates to receive the "Goblin Tankard"

Trip #4 (Final)

(You will likely need to use the Puzzle Reset Lever near the front door prior to this trip)

Go to Podium Cave, return to Receptacle #15

Use item "Goblin Tankard" on Receptacle #15

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #14 is accessible.

Investigate Receptacle #14.

Use item "Shaggy Beastman Claws" on Receptacle #14

Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #13 is accessible.

Talk to Receptacle #13 to obtain the key item "Goblin Tongs"

Finishing Up

Return to Dabble in the "Goblin Workshop" and return their tongs.

Go to the "Mine of Mantuban Obelisk" and talk to Dabble once more to complete the quest.

63,500 Blacksmith XP.

43,200 Bonewright XP.

48,500 Stonemason XP.

Infusing equipment at obelisks.
