Overview

Start Point	Speak to Dabble at the Goblin Workshop
Requirements	40  Bonewright and 5 60  Blacksmith and 8 46  Stonemason and 6 61  Minefighter and 9 or 113  Alchemist
Recommended	Boost Level potions may be used to lower the level and Knowledge requirements. +2 Potion Boost Level may be purchased from the The Apothecary Shop once requirements are met. Some required items can instead be bought from the Potion Reagents Shop but have very high Alchemist level requirements to do so.
Enemies	Stinking Cockroach (May be avoided with 131  Alchemist).

Required items

The majority of this quest is in obtaining the various items that are required. Apart from quest-specific items, these may be obtained before the quest is even started. For passive items, only 0.005 of the item is required, and any extra will not be consumed.

• 12  (and more for the passive materials)
• Coarse Flint
  • Can be mined in the Abandoned Mining Cavern or Rat Infested Junction.
  • Alternatively can be bought from Poffit's Interesting Rocks in the Goblin Marketplace.
• Brittle Cockroach Mandible
  • Kill level 14 Stinking cockroaches in Cockroach Lair or Mutant Cockroaches areas
  • Alternatively can be purchased from the Potion Reagents Shop (Requires 131  Alchemist).
• Dice Knickknacks
  • Obtain Yellowing Sheep Rib from one of these sources:
    • Can be bought from Jangle's Bone Shop in the Bridge Cavern (Requires 40  Bonewright).
    • Can be gathered from the Soil Mound in the Mushroom Grove using a Sack (Requires 117  Gatherer and 17, boostable).
  • Begin passive training on the Knickkacks table in Bone Vats to convert the sheep rib into Dice Knickknacks using a Jar (Requires 40  Bonewright and 5, boostable).
• Necklace Shinerium Jewelry
  • Obtain Firefly Shinerium from one of these sources:
    • Can be bought from Bobble's Oresome Ores in the Goblin Marketplace (Requires 56  Blacksmith).
    • Can be mined in the Rugged Passage using a Crate (Requires 70  Miner and 11, boostable).
  • Begin passive training on the Jewelry Bench in the Gnome Forge to convert the shinerium into Necklace Shinerium Jewelry using a Crate (Requires 60  Blacksmith and 8, boostable).
• Gray Marble Vases
  • Obtain Gray Marble from one of these sources:
    • Can be bought from Poffit's Interesting Rocks in the Goblin Marketplace (Requires 46  Stonemason).
    • Can be mined in the Cave of the Crystal using a Crate (Requires 47  Miner and 6, boostable).
  • Begin passive training on the Stoneware Bench in the Sculpting Room to convert the marble into Gray Marble Vases using a Crate (Requires 46  Stonemason and 6, boostable).
• Shaggy Beastman Claws
  • Begin passive training on the Shaggy Beastman found in the Rat Infested Junction (Requires 61  Minefighter and 9, boostable).
  • Alternatively can be purchased from the Potion Reagents Shop (Requires 113  Alchemist).

Walkthrough

Trip 1

• Go to Podium Cave
• Investigate Receptacle #1, it will ask for a Goblin Compass.
• Go to Dabble in Goblin Workshop and ask about a compass to receive Dabble's Key.
• Go to Goblin Living Quarters and use the key on Dabble's chest. You will receive multiple quest items. (Broken Compass, Pin, Shiny Bauble, Jerky, Mysterious Device)
• In the quest interface, use the Pin on the Broken Compass to create the Goblin Compass.

Trip 2

• Go to Podium Cave
• Use Goblin Compass on Receptacle #1
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #5 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #5.
• Use Bone Dice (Dice Knickknacks) on Receptacle #5
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #6 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #6.
• Use Coarse Flint on Receptacle #6
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #2 is accessible.
• Turn Receptacle #2 so that Receptacle #3 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #3.
• Use Shinerium Necklace on Receptacle #3
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #4 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #4.
• Use Gray Marble Vases on Receptacle #4
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #8 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #8.

BEFORE LEAVING: Please ensure your quest log for "The Lost and Found" actually mentions the Kobold Throwing Knife. If the quest log says "I am making good progress" please make sure to investigate Receptacle #8. You may need to investigate Receptacle #7 or previous receptacles if you placed the item without investigating them first (this will allow the quest to catch up).

Throwing Knife

• Leave the Podium Cave, return to Lost and Found to talk to Quinto.
• Go to Skallek's Dwelling and ask him for his knife.
• Use the Shiny Bauble on the nail attached to the left wall.
• Go to the right wall of the room and take the Throwing Knife out of the wall.

Trip 3

• Go to Podium Cave, return to Receptacle #8
• Use Kobold Throwing Knife on Receptacle #8
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #12 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #12.
• Use Brittle Cockroach Mandible on Receptacle #12
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #11, then #15 are accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #15.

BEFORE LEAVING: Please ensure your quest log for "The Lost and Found" actually mentions the "Goblin Tankard". If the quest log says "I am making good progress" please make sure to investigate Receptacle #15. You may need to investigate previous receptacles if you placed the items without investigating them first (this will allow the quest to catch up).

Goblin Tankard

• Leave the Podium Cave, return to Lost and Found to talk to Quinto.
• Go to Chuncates Chamber and speak to Chuncrates, ask for his tankard. He will ask for some food.
• Go to Northwest Mining Cavern and speak to Sammy Clod. ask about interesting food.
• Purchase his lunch for 12 .
• Go to Chuncates Chamber
• Use Pork Pie on Chuncrates.
• Use Jerky on Chuncrates to receive the Goblin Tankard

Trip 4

(You will likely need to use the Puzzle Reset Lever near the front door prior to this trip)

• Go to Podium Cave, return to Receptacle #15
• Use Goblin Tankard on Receptacle #15
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #14 is accessible.
• Investigate Receptacle #14.
• Use Shaggy Beastman Claws on Receptacle #14
• Turn the bridge so that Receptacle #13 is accessible.
• Take from Receptacle #13 to obtain Goblin Tongs

Finishing Up

• Return to Dabble in the Goblin Workshop and return their tongs.
• Go to the Mine of Mantuban Obelisk and talk to Dabble once more to complete the quest.

Rewards

• 63,500  Blacksmith XP
• 43,200  Bonewright XP
• 48,500  Stonemason XP
• Infusing equipment at obelisks.
