Walkthrough

• I can start this quest by talking to Hayley Brannof at the Scrapyard.
• Collect a Paper and a Quill and Ink from Brannof's Chamber and add them to your toolbelt.

I'm collecting clues for Hayley Brannof to find a lost inheritance:

• I need to decipher the Swirl Clue:
  • The Geometric Shapes referenced in the clue can be found in Rocky Road.
  • Travel to Sea Road and investigate the Swirl Symbol on the wall of the building near the path to the scrapyard.
  • Use a Quill and Ink on the Map of Hopeport quest item to mark the spot on your map.

• I need a clue from James Newtap:
  • James Newtap in Pipe Alley wants a me to make a potion to cure hair loss.
  • Speak to Ebsworth the Hopeport Apothecary about making a hair loss cure potion.
  • Go to the Scrapyard and use the Stinky Red Cheese on the bathtub before removing the broom and retrieving the Scrap Rat.
  • Go to Rubble Road and kill a Hairbeast to retrieve the hair beast hair.
  • Finally return to Ebsworth, who will teach you to make the Hair Restoration Preparation.
    • I need to be at least a level 50 Alchemist to make a hair restoration potion.
  • After you've made Hair Restoration Potion return to James Newtap and he will give you Shapes Clue
  • The Shapes symbol is found on Rocky Road, use your Ink and Quill when standing in front of it.

• I need a clue from the Hadley Family:
  • Oswald Hadley in The Delectable Dab Restaurant wants a Bigeye Gurnard Soup:
    • I need to be at least a level 61 Chef to make a Gurnard Soup.
  • The Fish Clue is on the wall next to Hadley.

• I need a clue from Lord Brannof:
  • Lord Brannof will give you a Falcon Clue
    • The corresponding Falcon Symbol is located in Wasteland.
    • Investigate the Falcon Symbol in the ruins and use the Quill and Ink on your quest item map to mark the location.

• Upon locating the symbols, the player will need to have a Quill and Ink on their tool belt to mark the locations on the Map of Hopeport. One can be found on the desk in Lord Brannof's room or in Captain Degreene's office. It can then be used from the tool belt on the map in the quest log to note down the locations.

• After jotting down all the locations specified by the clues, the player must then travel to Overgrown Road and use James's Tiny Key on the Out of place rock in the northern section of the zone. The stone wall will open up and inside awaits the inheritance guarded by a level 55 enemy that must be defeated.
