I've been trying to work out the formula for how weapon stats are calculated, based on drops I have got from level 28 hooligan goblins as a hammermage, but it needs more data to be sure its universally applicable. Here's what I have so far:

1. Non-elemental weapons always have strength of 5 + rarity*15 + level

2. Elemental weapons have strength that is 0 - 5 lower than a non-elemental weapon of the same rarity and level

3. Elemental weapons can come in different varietes for the same level + rarity + drop source.
E.G. I got some level 28 common throwing stones with 45 strength and 33% chance, and another set with 43 strength and 45% chance.

4. If strength goes down, element chance goes up

5. Element chance can also vary without strength changing
E.G. I got some level 26 common great stone maces with 46 strength, one had 31% chance and the other had 33% chance

6. Faction and element affects the base element chance and the range of strength levels. For hammermage:
red, 0-1 lower strength, 31-35% chance
green, 3-4 lower strength, 31-35% chance
black, 0-1 lower strength, 31-35% chance
blue, no melee weapons
yellow 1h, 3-5 lower strength, 70-79% chance
yellow 2h, 0-1 lower strength, 70-79% chance

7. Rarity increases base element chance, uncommon or higher appears to be about 10% higher than common, but only for red and yellow elements, not green, blue or black (not much data here)

8. Throwing elemental weapons typically have 3-5 lower strength, with higher element chance as a result of it

If anyone else wants to collect data to compare with these rules, please let me know
