Spotted Mackibut is an item that can be obtained from Spotted Mackibut skill nodes in Salty Swine. Fishing Spotted Mackibut is a Passive activity unlocked with 25 Fisher and 2 Knowledge. Fishing for Spotted Mackibut requires a Fishing Rod, Grubby Grubs for bait and Crates to contain them.

Catching Spotted Mackibut takes 20 seconds per action, consumes 0.005 units of bait and awards the player 10 XP and 0.005 units of a full crate (this is despite the item received notification showing each action awarding 0.01 units). Each crate holds 200 catches and takes ~66 minutes to fill for a total of 2000 XP.

Catching Spotted Mackibut awards 1800 XP per hour.

Once the player reaches 31 Fisher fishing Spotted Mackibut is reduced to 5 XP per action. Players should instead move to catching Ballan Wraddock.
