As mining can take your character into higher level zones with dangerous creatures that will aggro onto your character, it is recommended to level your [[Minefighter]] skill in tandem with your Miner skill in order to be able to adventure into dangerous areas to acquire these valuable resources.
The Miner profession is unlocked with access to [[Mine of Mantuban]] and requires players own the [[Premium Pass]]. Once you complete [[Get clearance from Jal]], you will gain access to the [[Mine of Mantuban]]. Enter the [[Abandoned Mining Cavern]] room and take a [[Pickaxe]] from the rock in the center of the room. The first node you can mine is the [[Coarse Flint (skill node)|Coarse Flint]] within this room and the [[Rat Infested Junction]] to the East.

The resources can be sold to vendors, or stored in the [[Stone Bank]] or [[Ore and Ingots Bank]] throughout the mine.
