While doing an action that yields [[Experience]], of any kind, except while doing [[Passive activities]], a bar will fill up at a fixed amount dependent on the action (for example, killing any creature in combat yields 3% of a knowledge point). Knowledge is a game mechanic that is unlocked when reaching level 20 in any profession.
While doing an action that yields experience of any kind, except while doing passive activities, a bar in the professions interface will fill up at a fixed amount, dependent on the action. For example, killing the lowest level variant of a creature in combat yields approximately 3% of a knowledge point.
Upon reaching 100%, a knowledge point can either be spent on one of the following rewards:
- Unlocking a passive activity
- Higher level passive activities for a profession can only be unlocked by unlocking the previous activities first
- Gain 12 silver as the starting base amount. A variable amount silver can be obtained after level 20 the formula being 300x + 6000. X based on your highest profession level.
- Currently 156 Maximum silver exchange rate with a profession level of 500
- Experience for any profession level 20 or above, equating to roughly 25% of the experience between the current and next levels.
- Once level 200 is reached, that percentage drops down to 6.25%.
- This can be boosted by an XP potion.
It is not possible to save a knowledge point for later, prompting the player to use it even when they have no activity to unlock.
