Kedwick Shalstanger is an NPC that greets the player, welcomes them to their lodge, and lets them know they can ask about local creatures.
Dialogue
During the "Spider's Nest" quest, players can ask if Kedwick can tell them about tar rats. Kedwick tells the player that he "last saw one a few months ago in a small clearing in the south of the forest."
