In Brighter Shores, items are objects that can be picked up by the player and placed into the backpack or toolbelt. Some of them may be used for further processing, while others may be consumed for benefits to the player or equipped to increase the character's combat stats.
Items dropped to the ground by the player have a despawn time of ten minutes.
