Players who have chosen the Guardian faction can receive a Horned Helmet in {{Common}}, {{Uncommon}}, {{Rare}}, or {{Epic}} [[Rarity]]. Players who chose the [[Hammermage]] or [[Cryoknight]] factions will receive Horned Helmet much less frequently, and only in {{Rare}} rarity, as these items are intended for other factions to use with the [[Infusion]] system to make {{Epic}} rarity armor for their faction.

Horned Helmets can also be crafted by the [[Armorer]] profession, at an item level up to the Armorer level of the crafter.

The visual appearance of a Horned Helmet is dependent on its level. Horned Helmets crafted by the Armorer profession use different variants of the materials for each different visual appearance of the Horned Helmet.

This total resistance is divided up between the 6 damage types with some variation for each individual value.
