It is used to fell [[Hickory Tree|Hickory]], [[Pine Tree|Pine]], [[Juniper Tree|Juniper]], and [[Poplar Tree]]s, as well as to chop [[Bramble]]s. There are 6 different grades of Hatchet that may be purchased from [[Morauce's Pointy Implements]], each of which gives an increasing XP bonus when using it. Hatchets may also be [[Enchant]]ed to further increase the XP bonus. Enchantment level is retained when upgrading the grade of the Hatchet.
