== Process ==
First the Gnome Smelter must be loaded with ores. Up to 6 ores of the same type may be loaded into the smelter one at a time, each taking 2.5 seconds.

Then the hand crank is turned, which activates the etching process. Regardless of the number of ores in the smelter, this process takes the same amount of time.

Lastly, the ingots are removed from the ingots mold all at once. Experience and knowledge is awarded at this step.

In total, smelting a batch of 6 ores takes 35 seconds, which averages to 5.86 seconds per stone. However an ingot smelted individually will take 22 seconds, so it is highly recommended to smelt ingots in batches.
