Fishing Rod is a piece of Equipment for the Fisher profession. It is used to catch Passive fish: Dab, Mackibut, Wraddock, Herring, Sturlet, and Bream, which all require Bait to catch. There are 6 different grades of fishing rod that may be purchased from the Fishing Supplies shop, each of which gives an increasing XP bonus when using it. Fishing Rods may also be Enchanted to further increase the XP bonus. Enchantment level is retained when upgrading the grade of the Fishing Rod.
