It is used to catch [[Passive]] fish: [[Dab]], [[Mackibut]], [[Wraddock]], [[Herring]], [[Sturlet]], and [[Bream]], which all require [[Bait]] to catch. There are 6 different grades of fishing spearrod that may be purchased from the [[Fishing Supplies]] shop, each of which gives an increasing XP bonus when using it. Fishing Rods may also be [[Enchant]]ed to further increase the XP bonus. Enchantment level is retained when upgrading the grade of the Fishing Rod.
