'''Fisher''' is a type of [[professions|profession]] which specializes in catching [[fish]]. The skill name changes based on the gender of the player character, '''Fisherman''' for men and '''Fisherwoman''' for women.

Players receive a one-time experience bonus for the first catch of each fish added to your 'album'. 

== Starting Out ==
To begin training the profession, purchase a [[Fishing Spear]] from [[Melv's Fishing Supplies]] located off of the east side of the [[Town Square]], south of the Guard HQ. Then, head back to [[East Beach]] where you gathered the Brown Kelp for the Tutorial Quest, and you will find Level 0 [[Mottled Flounder (skill node)|Mottled Flounders]] to begin your Fishing. 

==Fish Uses==
All fish may be sold to the [[fishmonger]], but many species are also used in the [[Chef]] profession. These can be stored in the Ingredients Bank in the [[The Delectable Dab Kitchen]] at the back of [[The Delectable Dab Restaurant]] on the west side of [[Stone Street]]. 

==Fishing Unlocks and Uses==
Note: XP/Gather is actually calculated as a percentage increase of the previous level, and as such is fractional. After a game update which allowed fractional XP to count towards your total XP, you may see a -1 XP discrepancy from the values listed below.
