Factions in Brighter Shores allow the player to specialise in using a specific combat style.
Factions are described as follows on the Official Brighter Shores Website. "You will discover powerful magic sources and become one of the legendary classes of old: Cryoknight, Guardian or Hammermage. Which is fortunate, because something is corrupting the deepest reaches of the nearby Hopeforest, and only through the strength of your new-found powers will you be able to deal with it." [1]
Factions
- The Cryoknight () faction is focused on melee combat, using weapons like swords alongside a shield.
- Guardians () use ranged combat, preferring to wield weapons like crossbows.
- The Hammermage () faction fights using a mix of melee and magic.
