The equpiment drop table is actually a set of four different tables, referred to as the Factionless table, the Cryoknight table, the Guardian table, and the Hammermage table. Whenever an item is to be obtained from a killed monster, that monster has a list of possible items that is specific to each source. These items are each assigned a different chance to appear, called a drop rate. Some monsters have on their list of drops an entry that, instead of picking from its usual drops, will instead select an item from one of these four tables.

This is usually a maximum at the combat level of the enemy, and a minimum of one higher than the combat level of the previous enemy for that combat profession.
