The '''Equipment drop table''' is a group of lists of [[items]] that can be gained from monster drops. 

When slaying [[monster]]s, most have a chance to access award items from the equipment drop table. Unlike a monster's standard drop table the equipment drop table is shared by most monsters, with only the level of the monster affecting the level of the equipment awarded from these tables.

Only active monsters explicitly listed on the combat profession menu have access to these drop tables.

==Mechanics==
The equpiment drop table is actually a set of four different tables, referred to as the Factionless table, the Cryoknight table, the Guardian table, and the Hammermage table. Whenever an item is to be obtained from a killed monster, that monster has a list of possible items that is specific to each source. These items are each assigned a different chance to appear, called a drop rate. Some monsters have on their list of drops an entry that, instead of picking from its usual drops, will instead select an item from one of these four tables. 

Items dropped from these tables may be of {{Common}}, {{Uncommon}}, {{Rare}}, or {{Epic}} [[Rarity]]. The level of the items received is usually random within a range that depends on the level of the enemy that rolled the drop. This is usually a maximum at the combat level of the enemy, and a minimum of one higher than the combat level of the previous enemy for that combat profession. Items are usually [[Tuning|Tuned]] to the episode in which they are dropped, but infrequently they may drop untuned.

==Factionless equipment table==
The Factionless table is only able to be accessed by players who have not yet progressed the [[Quest|Main Story Quest]] to the point where they select a [[Faction]] during [[Nullify the corruption]]. This table consists of Hopeport guard themed weapons and armour, and is restricted to items of level 0 to 50, but are otherwise unrestricted by enemy type, rarity, or tuning status. Enemies which are accessible by factionless [[Guard]]s or [[Scout]]s  up to level 50, but which attempt to drop an item above level 50, will instead not drop items from the factionless table. For example, a [[Foraging Ghoul]] can drop factionless items of levels 48 to 50, but not 51 to 52.

==Faction equipment tables==
There are three faction tables a player may roll from upon a monster kill, depending on the player's chosen [[Faction]] during [[Nullify the corruption]]. When a player rolls on the table belonging to their own faction, they can receive items of {{Common}}, {{Uncommon}}, {{Rare}}, or {{Epic}} rarity.

Rarely, players may roll onto a faction table of a different faction to their own, including players who have not yet chosen a faction. This will result in a {{Rare}} item drop, for use with the [[Infusion]] system to create {{Epic}} items. 

===Cryoknight table===
This table consists of metal weapons and armor that can only be used by players who chose the Cryoknight faction, and is accessed most often by Cryoknights. However, Guardians and Hammermages are able to receive {{Rare}} items from this table at a much lower frequency.
