Customers are non-player characters who frequent the city of Crenopolis. They appear in various different outfits and on occasion steal from the stalls, for which they can be apprehended by the player character as a means of training their Detective profession. If they are wrongly apprehended, the player character is subjected to a fine equal to that which they would receive in payment had the apprehension been a lawful one.
