The '''Cat''' is an animal you can pet in Brighter Shores. There are at least three varieties of cat. Petting the cat takes about 6 seconds. During the petting session, cartoonish two-dimensional red hearts are emitted from the cat's head and it purrs. The cat can be pet many times in a row with the same effect every time.
